Custom German Precision – Kusch Yachts
For nearly three decades German shipyard Kusch Yachts has been constructing top quality mega-yachts. Founded in 1981 by Claus Kusch, the company launched its first vessel in 1982; she was called Lady Georgina. After operating for several years and building up a substantial international clientele, Claus Kusch discovered the ideal partner for his enterprise. The Peters Schiffbau Werft in Wewelsfleth had the very qualities Kusch was interested in bringing on board: reliability, congeniality and a traditional mindset. The partnership resulted in Kusch Yachts becoming even more firmly entrenched in the international ship building industry.

While it was under construction the yacht was called Project May. The luxurious yacht is fit for royalty and can comfortably accommodate 24 guests and 55 crew members. The ten guest suites and two VIP suites are large and luxuriously fitted and furnished. Each suite has its own double bedroom, bathroom and living room. Guests can also enjoy the outside bars and the cinema and there is a helipad for further convenience.

In the year it was launched the Al Mirqab was named the second most beautiful yacht in the world and won the ‘Motor Yacht of the Year’ award, a coveted prize in the yachting world.
