The 41st Cannes Yachting Festival
With the Cannes Yachting Festival 2018 around the corner, the countdown has started! As usual, shipyards around the globe are gearing up for the biggest, and one of the most exciting annual European boat shows. Held from 11 to 16 September this year in Port Pierre Canto and Vieux Port in Cannes, it is expected that the festival will see tens of thousands of yacht enthusiasts, as it does every year, from all corners of the world.
The Most Sensational Cannes Yachting Festival Yet
This year the festival is promising an exciting evolution in its visual identity. According to a press release by the organizers, the festival is undergoing a transformation this year. While maintaining its essential DNA of elegance, an inspired lifestyle, calm seas and clean lines, it will also evolve to encompass both motor yachts and sailing boats – both to be presented by some of the foremost shipyards in the world. The festival has also announced its support of the French National Society for Sea Rescue (SNSM) and has pledged its support by giving around 50,000 anticipated visitors the option to donate €1, €2 or €5 when they purchase their tickets to the festival online.
Highlights of the Cannes Yachting Festival
One of the most highly anticipated headlines of the festival include Australia’s premium luxury motor yacht builder Riviera, who is proud to announce yet another long-range luxurious Sports Motor Yacht. In line with the Cannes Yachting Festival’s theme of evolution, enthusiasts are greatly anticipating Riviera’s 72 Sports Motor Yacht – the latest addition to the company’s five progressive motor yacht collections. It has also been confirmed that Maserati Levante is the Official Partner of the 2018 Cannes Yachting Festival.
While the French Riviera is most enjoyable during this time of the year, the wide range of yachts on display and the exhilarating sea trials in the magnificent Cannes bay will make the festival an even more spectacular destination for all.
