Seeing Thailand from the water is a peaceful experience, especially when your journey is powered only by the wind in your yacht’s sails, and not by a noisy engine. Sailing is one of the best ways to savour the overwhelming beauty of this magical place. From majestic elephants walking languidly on beaches to untouched tropical forests, dramatic limestone hills and hidden coves and lagoons, Thailand offers scenery second to none.

Welcome to paradise

After arriving at any of Thailand’s harbours or ports, visitors can enjoy mouth-watering delicacies and drinks while their supplies are being replenished and yachts serviced. Most of the ports offer a full range of amenities, and some of the best beach bars in the world are located where visitors land in Thailand. This is a country renowned for being both extremely well-priced and extremely friendly.

Khai Nui is a great for a day stop. Here you can anchor and spend the day sipping on cocktails and lounging in the sun on the sandy beaches. Koh Surin is an ideal place to stop and shop. There is a great range of souvenirs available from some of the many unique and interesting shops. This is also an ideal place to experience the incredible ocean life of Thailand’s shores by snorkeling in the shallow reefs. The Surin islands are where visitors can enjoy an exclusive experience of spending time underwater with sociable sea turtles. For another spectacular snorkeling experience, visit Koh Bon where you can snorkel with manta rays and also get to see leopard sharks in their natural habitat.

Thailand magic

Exquisite Thailand has many secrets. Like the beautiful concealed beach of Koh Muk, only accessible by swimming through a secret passageway in a cave, and the Y-shaped beach of Koh Nang Yuan where you will also find the only zip-line that joins two islands. The best part of the secrets of Thailand is that the friendly locals are delighted to share the beauty of their homeland with tourists. Any yachts person exploring this enchanting destination is sure to be captivated.
